Cari M. Schwartz

 

Cari M. Schwartz was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. After graduating from Harvard-Westlake School, Cari went on to attend the University of California at San Diego where she competed on the women’s varsity soccer team while earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with a minor in Health Care & Social Issues. Before graduation from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, Cari worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District for 6 years as a bilingual elementary school teacher. At Southwestern University, Cari was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program where she wrote a first place brief in the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Competition. After law school, Cari joined the nation’s largest law firm specializing in Social Security Disability Insurance benefits and to date has represented close to 1000 claimants at administrative law judge hearings across the Western United States, handling a broad array of cases with varying levels of complexity. 

 

Cari is admitted to the State Bar of California and U.S. District Court, Central District of California. In addition to her membership in the CA State Bar, Cari is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives (NOSSCR).
